Biomechanical Assessment
If you experience pain or discomfort affecting the feet, ankles or lower limbs, a Biomechanical Assessment can provide a detailed evaluation of your lower-limb function.
Duration: 60 minutes
The assessment includes a detailed medical history, clinical examination and analysis of your gait, foot function and lower-limb alignment.
Following the assessment, a personalised treatment plan can be developed according to your individual needs.
Where appropriate, orthotics may be recommended to support the feet, optimise load distribution and improve comfort during everyday activities or sport.
Biomechanical Assessment may be helpful in evaluating symptoms associated with conditions such as plantar heel pain, bunion-related discomfort, corns and other forms of lower-limb pain.
Where orthotics are recommended, they are carefully selected and tailored according to your individual biomechanics, lifestyle and activity requirements, providing a personalised approach to improving comfort, function and overall lower-limb wellbeing.
